  • You feel stuck in thoughts or patterns despite your best efforts to move forward.

  • Stress, anxiety, or overwhelming emotions feel hard to manage.

  • You keep showing up for others while struggling to make space for your own needs.

  • Past experiences continue to affect how you see yourself, others, or the world.

  • You feel disconnected from who you are, what you need, or where you’re headed.

  • You sense that something needs to change, but aren’t sure where to begin.

Whatever has brought you here, meaningful change often begins with understanding.

Hi, I’m Yvonne

Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can make sense of your experiences and reconnect with yourself.

I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) providing trauma-informed individual counselling to children, youth, and adults across British Columbia. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex trauma and dissociation, including OSDD and DID.

Together, we’ll work toward understanding the patterns that have shaped your life, reconnecting with yourself, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

Inclusive & Culturally Responsive Care

I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities, including Indigenous, immigrant, refugee, BIPOC, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

My aim is to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and able to bring your full experience into the therapy room.

Areas of Focus

  • Ocean stretching toward the horizon beside a forested shoreline, symbolizing healing, resilience, and hope after trauma.

    Trauma & PTSD

You may feel on edge, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.

  • Sky filled with shifting clouds, representing the changing thoughts, uncertainty, and overwhelm often experienced with anxiety and chronic stress.

    Anxiety & Chronic Stress

When your mind won’t slow down or stress feels constant, it can be difficult to find space for yourself.

  • Dark storm clouds gathering over a residential building, symbolizing the heaviness and emotional weight often experienced with depression and low mood.

    Depression & Low Mood

When getting through the day feels exhausting or you no longer feel like yourself.

  • Mature tree rooted among surrounding forest, symbolizing connection, belonging, and healthy attachment.

    Relationships & Attachment

You may long for closeness while finding relationships difficult to navigate or trust.

  • Palm trees beside the ocean at sunset, symbolizing transition, growth, and embracing life’s changing seasons.

    Life Transitions & Identity

You may be navigating change, loss, or uncertainty about who you are or where life is leading you.

  • Nervous System Dysregulation

When your body stays in survival mode, it can feel difficult to relax, think clearly, or feel like yourself.

How We Work

EMDR Therapy

Helps process difficult experiences so that they no longer have the same impact on your emotions, beliefs, relationships, and daily life.

Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing

IFS Therapy

Helps you understand and work with parts of yourself, creating greater self-compassion and inner peace.

Internal Family Systems

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

Develop greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and body sensations with curiosity rather than judgment. Mindfulness can strengthen emotional regulation, reduce overwhelm, and create space for lasting change.
